Branch Manager
Job Summary:
The Branch Manager works in a fast-paced, active environment with a high focus on fulfilling customer needs. This role guides the entire operations team (warehouse, night shift, trucking departments, and sales) to provide on-time delivery, accurate inventory, and help create maximum value for our customers. The focus includes driving a strategic plan based on individual market demand to develop the customer base, financial outcomes, and efficiency of operations. While maintaining daily operations, the position demands leadership to inspire continuous improvement in all areas of the company. The position operates on a day shift schedule and could require overtime when necessary. The Branch Manager reports directly to the Regional Distribution Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the branch
  • Foster continuous improvement and problem-solving skills throughout all branch teams
  • Coach and lead process improvements to attain operational excellence
  • Become proficient in the ERP system, warehouse management system, dispatch delivery system, and other tools that support our daily functions
  • Acquire knowledge and offer support with all warehouse tasks as needed
  • Measure, analyze, and maintain successful levels of performance metrics
  • Maintain the branch P&L and consistently seek methods to boost business profitability and to meet or exceed budget
  • Manage customer interactions and resolve complications
  • Lead the branch sales team to achieve sales targets/goals and assist with expanding territory market
  • Review inventory levels on stocked items on a consistent basis
  • Attend monthly leadership meetings

Skills & Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain BPI’s forklift certification (course and training)
  • Must be able to maintain safety by adhering to OSHA’s requirements and standards
  • Must participate and complete BPI’s Advancing Leaders certification

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. at a consistent manner
  • Must be able to endure year-round weather conditions for extended periods
  • Some travel may be required
