BPI is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our team. This position assists the Branch Manager with the warehouse floor, oversees the activities of the load crew, loading procedures, oversees the loading of material on trucks, and other duties assigned.

This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while managing orders and truck routes.  This person will need to be a team player and can lead staff daily.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To assist the Supervisor with the load crew, loading procedure, oversee the loading of material on to trucks, and other warehouse activities.

  • Must sign off and will be accountable for each trailer before sealed up.
  • Create and distribute the truck routes daily.
  • Monitor the weight of each truck load.
  • Monitor and reduce overtime as needed.
  • Determine materials to be loaded onto trucks.
  • Be active in all aspects of the warehouse with cross training.
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager.
Requirements:
  • Pass BPI’s forklift certification course.
  • Proficient use of a hand-held scanner.
  • Safety focused.
  • Be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Capable of working in a changing weather environment.
  • Management experience preferred.
