Position Overview
BPI is seeking a Millwork CDL Driver to operate a tractor-trailer truck on local, consistent routes, ensuring the accurate and safe delivery of millwork materials. You’ll serve as the face of BPI, building strong relationships with our customers through helpful and friendly service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, safely and efficiently on assigned local or regional routes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of millwork materials to customer sites and company locations.
  • Load and unload millwork materials, verifying quantities and condition of goods during pick-up and delivery.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks; report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate trip logs, delivery records, and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Interact professionally with customers, provide excellent service and resolve any delivery-related concerns.
  • Secure cargo using appropriate methods to prevent damage or shifting during transport.
  • Stay up to date on traffic conditions, road closures, and weather to plan safe and efficient routes.
  • Assist in warehouse duties or other tasks as needed, depending on operational demands.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – with a clean driving record, preferably 3 years’ experience.
  • Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Proven experience operating tractor-trailers or other commercial vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail for completing logs, inspections, and delivery documentation accurately.
  • Excellent driving skills, including backing up, parking, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift to 75 lbs. and climb in/out of vehicles frequently.
  • Time management skills with the ability to plan routes and meet tight delivery windows.
  • Professional communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
  • Dependable and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Mechanical awareness to identify basic vehicle issues during pre- and post-trip inspections.
